Donovan Cheruiyot, a senior at Vacaville High in California, won the boys varsity large school race at the 43rd ASICS Clovis Invitational, covering the 5-kilometer course in 15:49.5 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Cheruiyot helped Vacaville secure sixth place overall with 260 points.
